Sydney coordinated our wedding October 7th, and she was amazing!!! We received so many compliments from guests and our wedding party about how kind, caring, and passionate she is about her job. For whatever we needed, she was always one text away and so helpful. From meeting before the event, to the rehearsal, and day off, she was right there and working behind the scenes to make it the most memorable day for us. We 100% recommend Dear Diary Events to anyone looking for a coordinator. Sydney is simply the best, and helped to make our day so beautiful and stress-free, despite the rain.
This girl is a rockstar. If you are in Leeds and Grenville hire her for your events big or small. Sydney killed our wedding on Saturday.

Sydney is an exceptionally talented young woman who listens carefully to the ideas you have for your event and then adds in her personal insights to elevate your vision.
She was very easy to work with, maintained great communication and was respectful to the boundaries of the budget we had in mind. She took the initiative to actually pick up and drop off Linens we sourced saving us a hefty delivery fee !!

We hired Sydney back in October of 2023 for our June 2024 wedding. From the beginning Sydney was very detail oriented. Fast forward to 2024 she contacted me at least once a month asking how i was doing, and if there was anything i need help with, she was always fast to answer any questions or concerns i had.
The day before the wedding Sydney came to our venue and ran through everything with us. She was incredibly organized and just on too of everything.
The morning of the wedding Sydney finished setting up the rest of the decor, along with running back and forth from our room to the Grooms/Groomsman’s room (sorry for having to deal with the groomsmen haha) She was so organized and had everything set she was doing things before we had even asked.
My husband and I really couldn’t have had a more seamless day without Sydney, we worried a lot less, and our families were able to relax as well. With all those small details and last minute things it really let us enjoy our special day.
I absolutely recommend Sydney to anyone for any event especially their wedding day
Sydney was the literal reason our wedding went off without a hitch. She held the day together and made everything happen! She has a fantastic eye for the little and big details, and has a incredible vision for the decor. Managing our Vendors, our family, and all of the decor and timing of the day was better that what we even hoped for.
We will be recommending her to everyone we know! All of the people at our wedding saw firsthand how amazing she was and are already been recommending her to their friends! We especially loved how she handled our new(ish) and seasoned Vendors, international family, multiple musical selections (band, dj and all music inbetween) as well as our multiple floral choices, DIY projects and extensive arrangements / decor. She tied our decor and our personal vision into the venue made everything seamless and exquisite!
We know that we were both (Bride and Groom) stressed at multiple times during the day, but her calm, cool and collected persona really eased all of our stresses at every point. We didn't even know that we were behind schedule and caught us back up until the next day. All of the other Vendors independently told us how much they valued Sydney as well.

Thank you Sydney! I am so thankful we came across Sydney’s social media accounts in our early stages of wedding planning. She is the reason our wedding was absolutely perfect! From day 1 she was reaching out making sure we were on track with decor purchasing & booking vendors. She reached out multiple times throughout the process to see if we needed anything.
On wedding day setup she got to the venue before we did, had all the tables set up. I was feeling very overwhelmed with what needed to be done with the space, I was extra stressed because it was supposed to rain on our wedding day & my outdoor wedding vision wasn’t happening. Sydney’s expertise & quick thinking totally relaxed me as she rearranged & decorated the room into a space that would allow us to get married inside and require little rearranging before the reception.
On the day of Sydney was on the ball. Everything she did behind the scenes, putting the finishing touches together, keeping water jugs filled on the tables, keeping us on time throughout the whole day. She was the star of our day!
As my new husband and I sat enjoying our dinner at our head table, taking in our beautiful wedding & watching Sydney in action, we said “what would we have done without her?” and we have asked ourselves that days after as well. Not only did we notice her amazing job well done, but many of our friends and family who attending the wedding did as well.
So thank you again Sydney, without you our wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was!!
